Beautiful Chorus: Engaging the Art of Sound Vibration to Increase Intuition & Activate the Third Eye with Dr. Aria Thomé

Sunday, July 30th from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. | Total Participants: 8
Led by Dr. Aria Thomé, certified Doctor of Sacred Music

Sound healing is a system of using sounds from various instruments, including the human voice, to heal the mind, body, and spirit. It draws on wisdom from ancient healing traditions and modalities to bring about balance and well being.‍

Overactive thought patterns, cyclical ruminating, and lack of internal/external vision are just a few of the characteristics of a blocked Third Eye Chakra (Aanja), which is located on the forehead just above and between the brows. Sound, by use of tuning forks, bells, and even the voice can help to remove and repattern unhealthy energetic tendencies in order to bring us back into the present moment. Within the comfort of the here and now,  we become more clear-sighted, with sharpened intuition and accurate perception. We can again perceive patterns and symbols, dance with our imagination, and activate the pineal gland to allow for clairvoyance, or clear seeing. How we use and perceive sound affects how we use and perceive using our Third Eye.

Join Dr. Aria Thomé, a certified doctor of Sacred Music, as she explores the world of beautiful choruses through sound healing vibrations. Aria showcases a variety of instruments, including tuning forks, bells, and the human voice as instruments of healing and wellbeing. She explores chanting practices and how to incorporate the voice into a practice of daily reclamation for self and spirit. Aria explains the modality of sound healing, synthesizing experience with insight in order to transform consciousness through the incorporation of sound.

Students to Beautiful Chorus are encouraged to bring tuning forks, bells, or chimes of their personal collection, or may also come with just their voice. Attendees will be guided through an introductory guided meditation to set intention before moving into an interactive lecture-style experience. The session will end with a short sound bath experience to ground intention into physicality.
