Shamanic Soundbath: A Journey through Healing Frequencies with Aria Thomé

Tuesday, March 4th from 6 p.m – 7:30 p.m. | Total Participants : 10

Along with the power instruments you’ve come to expect in Soundbaths, like the powerful gongs, ethereal bowls, and delicate chimes, you will also experience the power of more shamanic sounds.

A shamanic drum is a powerful tool for healing, transformation, and spiritual connection. Used by shamans and healers across various cultures, its deep, rhythmic beats mimic the heartbeat of the Earth, creating a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms, while opening the third eye, promoting cellular health, and gaining clarity .

The rattle, infused with intention,  is a sacred tool used for energy cleansing, healing, and spiritual communication. With its rhythmic shaking, it generates a powerful vibration that can shift energy, clear blockages, and open the doors to higher consciousness. It  recharges energy centers (chakras), promoting flow and vitality. It helps dislodge suppressed emotions, allowing for release and healing. It can also calm balance the nervous system, helping to calm the mind by reducing stress, anxiety, and overactive thought patterns.

A chakapa is a sacred shamanic instrument made of sacred bundled leaves from the Parina palm. The rhythmic shaking helps clear stagnant or negative energies from a person’s energy field. Used also to call in spirits, guidance, and ancestors, the rustling sound creates a hypnotic sound that induces deep relaxation and altered states of consciousness, enhancing meditation or trance-like experiences. This instrument is particularly powerful when used with an abuelo flue, a flute that sounds the frequency of the earth directly into your heart chakra.

These instruments  are known to amplify intention as they direct healing energy and send vibrations and intentions toward the recipient. The movement and playing of instruments over the body can help dislodge stuck energy and restore balance to the physical and energetic systems as you journey, especially as they are used with  icaros (sacred healing songs), acting as a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds, enhancing the power of the ceremony and helping participants navigate their healing journeys.
